In Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the reader meats Sirius Black, a
wizard who has escaped from Azkaban (the wizard prison). We are led to
believe that he helped kill Harry's parents, and escaped from Azkaban
with a need to kill Harry. Harry is closely guarded by the Hogwarts
staff. Then, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, meet Sirius Black himself! He
says that he never killed Harry's parents; he was friends with them.
We learn that Sirius Black did not help kill Harry's parents, it was
Peter Pettigrew, a man who could turn into an animal. Although Sirius
is captured and about to be killed, Harry and Hermione save him with
the help of a time machine Hermione uses to get all her classes in her
schedule.

Harry has
a dream in the beginning of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire about
Voldemort and Wormtail. In it they kill Muggle and plot to kill
Harry. His scar starts to hurt, and he tells Sirius Black, his
godfather. The Weasleys, a wizard family who are Harry's friends, go
with Harry and Hermione to the Quidditch World Cup, where Voldemort's
servants torture Muggles, and Voldemort's most devoted servant sends
Voldemort's sign into the sky. Harry goes to Hogwarts, the wizard
school, and learns that a Tournament involving three schools of magic
will be taking place at Hogwarts. This is called the Triwizard
Tournament. One student is chosen from the each of the schools to
complete in the Tournament. They students that wish to compete enter
their names in the Goblet of fire and the most eligible of the three
schools are selected. Harry doesn't apply to be in the
Tournament, but is still chosen, along with Cedric Diggory. He thinks
that the someone who put his name in the Goblet of Fire did it to kill
him during one of the three tasks that the Tournament includes. Harry
does fine throughout the first two tasks, but at the end of the third
task, Harry and Cedric tie and pick up the Triwizard Cup together.
They are transported to the grave of Tom Riddle, Sr. where Voldemort
lies in wait. Cedric gets killed, and Voldemort gets a body back due
to a potion that contains part of his father and part of Harry.
Voldemort talks about himself, and his devoted servant stationed at
Hogwarts who delivered Harry to him. Harry narrowly escapes getting
killed, and makes it back to Hogwarts. Dumbledore discusses plans to
stop Voldemort from "getting a good hold," and we are left
with that.

Just
about when he is going to leave for Hogwarts, a house-elf from Draco
Malfoy's family, tells him not to go back to Hogwarts because evil and
dangerous things will happen there. Harry goes to Hogwarts, despite
the house-elf's warning. As Harry is at Hogwarts, there are some small
problems, but nothing major at first. Then, suddenly, children start
turning into stone. Many people think Harry is causing that to happen.
Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, try to find out the truth.
Ron and Harry go on an adventure in the Chamber of Secrets to save
Ron's sister who is enchanted by the memory of Voldemort. Harry fights
"Voldemort", rescues the girl, and the children return to
normal.

Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is about an orphaned boy, Harry
Potter, and the exciting adventures his friends and himself go on. The
evil wizard, Voldemort, killed Harry's parents, Lily and James, years
ago. Harry was left on his mean aunt and uncle's doorstep as a baby.
On Harry Potter's eleventh birthday, a wizard shows up where Harry is
living. This man is a wizard named Hagrid - a wizard who was expelled
from a wizard school for something he didn't do - invites Harry to go
to the witchcraft and wizardry school because Harry is a wizard. Harry
didn't know he was a wizard before Hagrid arrived. Anyway, Harry goes
shopping for everything he needs to go to this witchcraft and wizardry
school - Hogwarts - and goes to Hogwarts. He meets Draco Malfoy, a
mean boy with an assumed-to-be evil father. He also meets and
befriends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. He joins the Quidditch
team, the arial sport that witches and wizards play. As Ron, Hermione,
and Harry find out more about the Sorcerer's Stone (a stone that gives
one as much money as one wants and the Elixir of Life) that is in
danger, they know that they must rescue it - before time runs out.
